BA #189 Signs of Muslims

(2008-09-20) – To say «bismi Llâhi r-rahmâni r-rahîm» is a sign of muslims. Any acting without saying this is fruitless. And you have to be dressed as a muslim. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: «man tashabbaha bi qaumin fa huwa minhum.» This means: As you appear, to those people you belong. Also angels are dealing with you according to your appearance. Even wild animals, if you are dressed with muslim clothes, it is forbidden for them to attack you. [Recorded by AbdurRauf Makki]
