Maulana has said that Ramadan will in-shâ-Llâh begin at this Friday, the 21st of August 2009. When I asked him at Wednesday if tomorrow (Thursday) would be the first salatu l-tarawih, he confirmed it by saying: «yes, must be!», and when after the sufilife-broadcasting at the same day he answered the question about the beginn of Ramadan by saying that it should be this Friday, I, sitting directly at his side, can attest it.

This record of a Qur ’ân-Recitation from the salatu l-tarawih, given by Maulana Sheikh Muhammad Nazim al-Haqqâny in the times of Peckham Mosque in London may endow us with a voretaste of the blessing of the arriving new month.
